Correspondence: The Wreck Of The European Revolutionary Left
Dear Editor Having read john's article on the failure of the of the (revolutionary) Left's Popular front politics, I note also that he points out these decisions have also been accompanied by organized dissolution of former revolutionaries into their surrounding peripheries. Their have been recent example of this in Belfast with People Before Profit activists splitting from their own party. Another failed front which very few people will politically profit from - never mind use it as means to build a new revolutionary socialist party. But this demise is only to be expected as the disappearance of these failed popular fronts must happen so that the new working-class movements can emerge. If and when they do emerge their first task will be reject the ideas of these Popular Front nostalgics. Gerry Fitzpatrick
