Dear Friends

Please sign the Petition of solidarity and send messages of solidarity in defence of Greek trade union and anti austerity protesters were arrested at the demonstration in Athens on 15 July, the day of general strike in the public sector.They were badly beaten in police custody and are awaiting trial on 22nd July under false charges. Two are Antarsya members - one is Secretary of Bookshops Workers’ Union and other is a social worker member of Union of Workers of the Foundation for the Child “Pammakaristos”. 

15 other militants were arrested and were treated by the notorious riot police with the same brutality.
